Adobe RoboHelp 7: Corrections Made Automatically

RoboHelp includes some handy tools that will make your common typing tasks go quicker. For instance, RoboHelp includes an AutoCorrect utility that will allow you to replace a few letters with a long phrase (I can type kas into a RoboHelp topic, press [spacebar] and have the letters replaced with the phrase Kevin A. Siegel). Cool!

Here's how you set up the AutoCorrect feature in RoboHelp:
Choose Tools > Spelling Options
  1. Select the AutoCorrect tab

  2. Type your initials into the Replace field

  3. Type your full name into the With field

  4. Click the Add button

    AutoCorrect in Adobe RoboHelp 7

  5. Click OK

  6. Open any topic in your RoboHelp project

  7. Click anywhere in the topic

  8. Press [spacebar] and then type your initials

  9. Press [spacebar]

Thanks to the AutoCorrect entry you just set up, your initials should be replaced with your full name.
