This week's Captivate article addresses an issue recently brought up by a student who attended my recent online Captivate 4 Essentials class.
The student inserted a bunch of click boxes in his project and then published it. When customer's clicked the click boxes, there was a click sound that could be heard by default. He hated that click sound and wanted it gone. Do you agree with him? Read on...
- Show the Properties of the Click Box (or button).
- On the Click Box tab, select Disable Click Sound.

- Click OK.
Expecting something more difficult? Oh, sorry. Of course, the student mentioned above had about 100 click boxes in his project. While he loved the news that he could disable the click sound, he wasn't looking forward to going through this process 100 times. What's that you say, you wouldn't be thrilled either? Oh. Then read on...
- Show the Properties of the Click Box (or button).
- On the Click Box tab, select Disable Click Sound.

- Click Apply to All in the lower left of the dialog box.
- Click the Settings button.
- Select Apply only changed properties.
- Select Apply to all.

- Click Close.
- Click OK.
Worried about your class canceling? You'll be happy to hear that we never, ever cancel our classes (even if there's just one student registered).
